CPAP's (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure
- Machines) and BiPAP's (Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure - Machines)
aid in maintaining normal breathing while sleeping. Many people suffer
from a form of sleep apnea which causes the patient to stop breathing
several times throughout the night. This is not only dangerous for
the obvious reason but also causes restless sleep as the patient can
never get into a deep sleep. CPAP's and BiPAP's are an effective way
to get back to a good night's sleep. Our Respiratory Therapist work
closely with our CPAP and BiPAP patients to ensure they are getting
the best use out of the equipment.
