OXYGEN |
At DASCO we pride ourselves in making the sometimes
overwhelming world of oxygen therapy as easy to use and understandable
as possible. We take the time to make sure our patients are set up
on the best equipment to suit their individual needs and to make sure
each patient fully understands how that equipment works. Click on

HME Informational Library.
DASCO offers a wide variety of oxygen equipment
because we know each person is different, as are their lifestyles.
Listed below are descriptions of our various oxygen equipment.
|
 |
Oxygen Concentrator |
The concentrator is the perfect solution
for in home oxygen. This self-contained unit runs off of basic electricity
and uses the room air in your house (approx. 21% oxygen) and converts
it into more pure oxygen (>90% oxygen). This process does not reduce
the 21% oxygen in the rest of the room. |
 |
Portable Oxygen Cart |
The portable oxygen cart is designed to give
oxygen patients their mobility back. These carts can accommodate the
larger size portable tanks (D & E sizes) and is ideal for longer
trips away from the home. |
 |
Portable Oxygen Shoulder Bag |
The portable oxygen shoulder bag is the ultimate
in oxygen portablity. These bags are made to accommodate various small
portable oxygen tanks. Depending on a patient's oxygen requirements,
these tanks are often used in conjuction with a "Conserving Device" to
extend the tanks oxygen duration. |
 |
Oxygen Conserving Device |
The oxygen conserving device is designed to extend the
amount of time an oxygen tank will last. This is accomplished by delivering
pulses of oxygen as the patient inhales rather than a constant stream
of oxygen. Because this device affects the oxygen delivery, it is not
recommended for patients with high O2 needs. |
